Through a patient’s treatment journey they will typically move across 3 main stages. Pre-Admission, Admitted, and Alumni.
During the Pre-Admission stage demographics, insurance information, referral sources, program, and documents are generated in preparation for the admission.
During the Admitted stage demographics are changed, admission and anticipated discharge dates are generated, and program/level of care may be modified, among other data points.
During the Alumni stage admissions are discharged, discharge types are generated, and other demographics may change at this stage.
